After my divorce, I was lost. One night I fell to my knees and cried out to God, asking Him to show me He was real. Minutes later, I saw a shooting star. It happened two more times after that, and I still couldn’t bring myself to believe.

The battle inside me kept growing. I wrestled with depression and a darkness I didn’t know how to face, and there were times I didn’t want to keep fighting. Instead of dealing with the pain, I buried it in marijuana. I even went to church high, looking for peace while hiding everything underneath it.

Then God brought my wife into my life. She loved me with a patience and grace I’d never experienced. But fear and shame kept me living a lie. I hid my addiction from her for almost a year because I wasn’t ready to face who I’d become.

Everything changed when she challenged me to stop running. I quit smoking, and without anything left to numb it, all the pain came back at once. I asked her what I should do. Her answer was one word: deliverance.

At church, I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ. During prayer, I felt something break loose in me that I still can’t fully explain. The weight I’d carried for years finally lifted.

Today my story is proof that God still redeems broken people. He met me in my darkest place, broke the chains that held me, and gave me a new life with purpose. My mission now is to glorify Jesus, share what He’s done in my life, and remind people that no one is too far gone for His grace.
